What does the chanel view mean on your you tube account mean?

I had seen that on your you tube account page that you have a chanel view on it. What does it really mean? Sorry about asking, but I wasn't exactly sure what it was so I just wanted to know exactly what it meant.|||That's the number of times that someone, other than you, has viewed your YouTube profile.
