idiots..wow|||Any hardware should have chanel imprinted on it. That is usually the biggest give away. It should be real leather and not plastic-y looking. And the left "C" overlaps at the top of the CC logo. If you have any doubts go to the Chanel website and compare the bag in question to the one you are thinking of. Is the shape and style similar?|||if its chanel its always gonna be real|||you just smell it! if it smells like plastic its not real if it smell different it's real!good luck|||the smell of course, the stitching has to be very neat and the threads have to be the same color as the bag, it must be extremely soft, the R needs to be next to the chanel sign, and inside the bag has to say chanel made in italy and it cannot be a patch, it has to be part of the purse. and if it's not its fake!!
