How can you tell a fake Chanel purse from the real thing?

I saw a cute "Chanel" purse at the mall that was only $47 dollars so I know it is fake. Other than the price, is there any way that other people will be able to notice?|||not really. if someone feels it they might be able to tell the difference in leather, and if someone looks inside they might not see a label. but, if you like it than go for it! most people wont notice!|||There are a million ways to spot a fake Chanel bag. Most fakes, especially the ones sold on the street and in mall stores, are very easy to spot. My advice is, forget the fake Chanel and head to your local Forever 21 for a cute, inexpensive bags. Fakes support terrorism, gangs, and drug trade.

Note: People still try and fake these, so I have provided a link to the ebay guide to buying authentic chanel bags. This should help you see the difference and it will provide you with additional hints to tell the difference.





I would suggest not buying from anyone but an authorized retailer just to be safe (i.e. buy at Saks, Nordstroms, etc). Although, they sell for a ridiculous price (that would be the regular price) there and most people (myself included) cannot afford them.|||If they open the bag and see the tag.|||i don't kno if u can!|||Check the spelling.|||lol i dont really think there is a way you can tell. you cant tell by the tag inside because all fake bags have tags inside too so you wouldnt be able to know. but i dont think you should get fake bags because they suck, have bad material, and you just feel bad about buying cheap stuff!|||i can spot a fake chanel a mile away. do not buy one. you won't fool the people you want to fool. everyone will know you paid $47 for it.





you can tell fakes a lot of ways. some fakes that use the CC logo will have it reversed; on some fakes, the right-facing "C" will overlap the left one at the bottom intersection. it should overlap it at the top. and then a lot of chanel fakers do not even base their fakes on real chanel purses. they just use quilted black (p)leather and a chain handle, but they don't get the actual design or pattern correct. plus they just look crappy because the workmanship is shoddy and the materials are inferior.





if $47 is your max purse budget, you might want to forget about real designers and start investigating second-hand coach bags.
